We don't even need to say it, 2020 has been a year...BUT despite all this officials in New York have decided to go forth and put up the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree to hopefully help spread the Christmas cheer.
Now how do they select the tree? Well, each year trees are generally donated to Rockefeller Center, which in turn donates the lumber to Habitat For Humanity after it's beautiful holiday display.
This year, the beautiful 74 ft Norway Spruce came from Oneonta, NY as pictured below.
Onlookers awaited the tree's arrival... but we think something happened along the way because when it arrived, well... it looked a bit different. Maybe they lost it? Maybe they photoshopped the original picture before they cut it down? Maybe they cut too much?
Think we're overreacting? These Instagram users don't think so.
Take a look at the tree below and let us know for yourself. Welcome to Level 239 of 2020...
Does this tree perfectly sum up 2020? ...We think so 🥺
